Employee Payroll Profiles

Overview

An employee profile is created in the payroll module automatically once sufficient details have been saved to their HR profile

However, there are some details that can only be configured from their Payroll Profile, such as their Superannuation, Tax Declaration, and Award configurations.

How to Update Payroll Information

  1. Go to 💻 Payroll > Manage Payroll (employment hero)
  2. Scroll down to the list of employees
  3. Click on an employee's name (or use the search filter to find them)

Details

  • Most of these fields will be inherited from their HR profile
  • Their Anniversary date can be used to specify the date they commenced working in their current award level (can be different from their start date)
  • Configure tags for additional Allowances or TIL instead of Overtime

Tax File Declaration

  • Enter the information from their TFN declaration form to estimate the correct tax rates used

Pay Run Defaults

  • Select the Award
  • Select the Employment Agreement
  • Select Leave Allowance Template

Super Funds

  • Configure the employee's super fund details
