Payroll Setup - Multiple Payroll Entities

When you have more than one business and ABN that you are paying employees from, we can set up each one as a payroll entity and staff will be paid from the primary business they are employed at.

Adding Multiple Payroll Entities

Email Support with the following details for each entity:

  1. Business (Trading) Name
  2. Business (Legal) Name
  3. ABN
  4. Business Address

Link the Payroll Entity to Entities in erly

Part 1: Get Your Entity ID(s)

  1. Go to Payroll > Manage Payroll (Employment Hero)
  2. Select the Entity from the dropdown list (top left) and click Switch
  3. Go to the Payroll Settings tab
  4. Right-click on the Details link and select 'Open link in a new tab'
  5. Copy the number from the address bar

Part 2: Create/Update Entities

  1. Go to Workplace > Setup Details
  2. Go to the Entities/Cost Centres tab
  3. Add the Entity Name/ABN
  4. Paste the Entity ID into the Entity ID (for Payroll platform) field
  5. Click Update Entities

Assign Staff to a Primary Payroll Entity

  1. Go to Staff/HR > Manage Staff
  2. Click on the staff/employee's name
  3. go to the Employment Details tab
  4. Scroll down to Employed Entity and select the entity from the dropdown
  5. Click Update Employed Entity
